Rose Fall, Wood Flooring Specialist and Consultant with Fall Design of Pleasanton, CA recently introduced her Warm Colors of Africa Collection. This unique collection is already delighting several Bay Area California customers.
“I drew my inspiration from my own love for the rich, warm colors that bless the African continent.” said Rose. “It is a meaningful collection for me personally.”
It is always a pleasure working with Rose. She is the designer behind a number of Arboritec’s more interesting projects in California including an upscale coffee house with an end grain mesquite floor that showcased some very unique capabilities of our commercial system using UVElite instant cure UV finish.
For the Warm Colors of Africa collection however, Rose chose to protect her customers floors with Arboritec’s Avenue two component ceramic-fortified waterborne finish. At the factory, her team applies two coats of Avenue 20. Then, once the flooring is installed, her crew adds a final coat of site-applied Avenue 20 as a final touch. This approach ensures her customer’s investment will be protected for many years to come.
Lake Rose was recently selected for application on a recent customer’s nursery room floor. Soon, this fun bright color with cheerily welcome a newborn daughter home.
Lake Rose gets its unique name from Lac Rose, a pink colored lake that lies north of the Cap Vert peninsula of Senegal, about 30km north-east of the capital Dakar in northwest Africa. Lac Rose’s pink waters are caused by dunaliella salina algae that thrive in its heavy saline waters.
In addition to Lake Rose, there are a wide variety of other impactful colors to choose from from a bright yellow called Siga to a impressive green called Terranga.
There are of course more traditional color choices to choose from as well based on walnut, oak and hickory. An overview of the full Warm Colors of Africa Collection is available.
By the way, there is another reason you can feel good about choosing a floor from this collection – a portion of your purchase price will be contributed to a worthy cause to benefit the people of Senegal.
