Over the years, the company has expanded its operations, establishing headquarters in both Sweden and the United States.Arboritec’s mission is to create, restore, and protect some of the world’s most beautiful floors by developing and delivering industry-leading products. The Arboritec Story

The ceramic particles (SiO2) are 1/1000th the size of PU molecules. When chemically crosslinked, these particles do not interfere with the finish’s flexibility or adhesion—they actually enhance the lacquer. The particle matrix creates a strong protective barrier against damage and wear, even during the curing process (commonly known as Early Use Damage).

Spot damage and localized scratches—such as heel marks or impacts from sharp objects—can absorb water and dirt, which may weaken the adhesion between the finish and the subfloor. These damaged areas often appear as “grayish” delaminated spots. However, localized scratches do not compromise the overall integrity of the surrounding finish.
